Kovdra: first look at the quiet one

Everything else in the kennel is loud. Kovdra is not.
Two duellists sit either side of a shroud. Each has twenty-four cards, and each
card is somebody they have already lost. Playing one spends it: there is no
shuffle, no return, no second draw. When your deck is empty the duel is over
and so, in the fiction, are you.
What we can say today
- The deck is the clock. Every game lasts exactly as long as your memories do.
- Winning with cards still in hand is easy. Winning on an empty deck is the line
- good players will chase.
- Art direction: stone, iron, and one red thread. Nothing else has colour.
It is a concept. The rules have been played on paper, which is further than it
sounds, and nothing is playable on a screen yet. We will not pretend otherwise.
